Commercial Electrical Work at the Waller County Courthouse in Texas

Waller CO Courthouse

Dailey was proud to be part of the rebuild of the Waller County Courthouse, a landmark project that supports the continued growth of the county and the community it serves. This project required detailed planning, coordination, and forward-thinking electrical solutions to meet both current needs and future development.

Rebuilding for the Future

The original courthouse building had significant structural issues, and after careful evaluation, it was determined that a full teardown and rebuild was the best long-term solution. Dailey provided commercial electrical services during the construction of the new courthouse, supporting the electrical infrastructure needed for the rebuilt facility.

The new facility now houses the commissioners' court, tax office, and multiple county departments under one roof. While the building itself is modern, thoughtful design choices were made to preserve pieces of the past. Select marble finishes from the original courthouse were carefully retained and incorporated into the new structure, honoring the history of the building while moving it forward.

Advanced Electrical Infrastructure

Dailey’s scope of work included extensive commercial electrical installations designed to support a growing county and evolving technology needs. Dailey provided and installed the first medium voltage pad mount transformer in Hempstead, a major milestone for the area. We also installed the medium voltage cable and completed all terminations to ensure reliable and efficient power delivery.

Dailey installed a generator to provide backup power and support critical operations during outages. Additional electrical apparatus was incorporated throughout the building to allow flexibility and capacity for future expansion.

Lighting That Blends Function and Design

Inside the courthouse, Dailey installed LED lighting throughout the building to provide efficient, long lasting illumination for daily operations. A complete lighting control system was added to give staff better control over lighting levels and energy use.

On the exterior, DMX color changing lighting was installed around the building and on all balconies. This system allows the courthouse to adjust its appearance for special events, holidays, or community celebrations while enhancing the architectural details of the structure.

A Project We Are Proud Of

The Waller County Courthouse project reflects Dailey’s experience with complex commercial electrical work and large scale public facilities. From medium voltage systems to lighting controls and generators, every aspect of the electrical installation was completed with reliability, safety, and long term performance in mind.

We are honored to have played a role in building a courthouse that will serve Waller County for generations to come.
